How we care for one another

Community guidelines

“Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up…” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Be kind and listen

Everyone here is carrying something. Encourage, don’t fix. Share your experience, not instructions. Respect that people may still be struggling.

Keep it on Survivor.com

Don’t share or ask for phone numbers, emails, addresses, social handles or links to private profiles, and don’t ask anyone to move to another app. This is one of the most important ways we protect each other. Contact details are removed automatically.

No medical, legal or financial advice

Share what helped you, but never tell anyone to stop, change or skip treatment or medication. On the Miracles & Praise wall, celebrate what God has done while encouraging everyone to keep following their doctor’s care.

Faith with love, never pressure

We’re Christ-centered and everyone is welcome. Share your faith gently, respect people who believe differently, and keep faith talk in a spirit of invitation.

No selling or fundraising

No ads, sales, multi-level marketing, crowdfunding links or requests for money. Sponsorship happens only through our sponsor page.

Never okay

Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, grooming, exploitation, impersonation, doxxing, sharing someone else’s story without permission, and content that encourages self-harm.

Adults only

Survivor.com is for people 18 and over.

If something is wrong

Use Report, Block or Mute on any post or message. If someone may be in danger, call your local emergency number or 988 (USA and Canada). Reports are reviewed by our team and AI moderation. Breaking these guidelines can lead to removal of posts or accounts. You can appeal through support.
