What we collect
- Sign-in: a network ID from our shared login (Google or email link). We don’t store your email address in your Survivor.com profile.
- Your birth year (to confirm you’re 18+). We check your full date of birth once and don’t keep it.
- What you choose to share: display name, avatar choice, bio, posts, comments, messages, prayer requests, journal entries, and the journeys and region you pick (kept private).
- Basic security records: sign-in sessions, rate-limit counters, moderation and audit logs.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers or sponsors.
- We don’t show ads targeted by health conditions or journeys.
- We don’t use your stories to train AI models.
- Member pages and private posts are never shown to search engines.
AI and moderation
To keep the community safe, posts and messages are checked automatically and by AI moderation (through our AI provider, AZ.ai). Conversations with Hope, the AI guide, are sent to the same provider to generate answers and are not saved to your profile. Our team may review flagged content to protect members.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Billed by Names.com. Charges appear on your statement as NAMES.COM - SURVIVOR (or NAMES.COM* SURVIVOR for one-time purchases).
Your choices
You can edit or delete your posts anytime, download all your data, or delete your account from My account. When you delete your account, your profile, stories, praise reports, prayer requests, journal and avatar are removed, and messages you left in others’ conversations are replaced with “[deleted]”.
Adventures
The Adventures game has its own privacy notes.
