Mentor program

Walk with someone who is a few steps behind you

Mentors are experienced survivors who share hope and practical experience, never medical advice. Every mentor completes training, agrees to our code, and is verified by our team.

1. Training

Read each short module and tick to confirm.

Boundaries

You’re a guide, not a rescuer. Keep conversations on Survivor.com, set time limits, and never meet, call, text or exchange contact details. You can step back anytime; our team will help with a hand-off.

No clinical advice

Share what helped you, never diagnoses, medication, dosing, detox or treatment decisions. Always encourage people to keep following their doctor’s care and to talk with qualified professionals.

Crisis referral

If someone may be in danger, respond with care, share 988 (USA and Canada) or their local emergency number, and use Report so our team is alerted. Never promise secrecy when someone is at risk, and never try to handle an emergency alone.

Privacy and staying on-platform

Keep what people share confidential within Survivor.com, never screenshot or repost it, and don’t ask for real names, locations or social profiles. Faith is offered with love, never pressed.

2. About you

3. Code and verification

After you apply, our team verifies mentors personally before approval.
